Discrete Communication Systems – (Oxford Graduate Texts) – Stevan Berber

Description

This is the first textbook which presents the theory of pure discrete communication systems and its relation to the existing theory of digital communication. It is written for undergraduate and graduate students, and for practicing engineers.

  • First textbook presenting the theory of pure discrete communication systems and its relation to the existing theory of digital communications
  • Unified terminology, simple and useful when going through chapters quickly
  • Self-contained with areas of study supported by complementary chapters containing useful background
  • Includes 300 solved problems, and five research and design projects available for assignements by lecturers and instructors
