About the Author(s) Stevan Berber, Associate Professor, Department of Electrical, Computer and Software Engineering, University of Auckland Stevan Berber received his PhD in electrical engineering from the University of Auckland, New Zealand, where he is currently an associate professor. He has taught undergraduate and graduate courses including communication systems, information and coding theory, stochastic signal processing, sensor and computer networks, and advance digital systems design. He has been leading or involved in a large number of research and industry projects related to these subjects. He held positions of a visiting scholar at the University of Sydney, visiting professor at the NUST University in Nanjing, China, visiting professor at the University of Novi Sad, Serbia, and a guest professor at universities in Greece, Spain, Korea and England. He served as an editor and a reviewer for leading journals and conferences in his field.
